A mobile operating system for smartphones  from Microsoft .Based on Windows CE kernel. designed to look and operate system similar to desktop versions of Microsoft Windows. Windows Mobile competes in the mobile OS market is iOS, Android, BlackBerry OS, Symbian and others.

This Phone was designed to replace the Mobile family of mobile operating systems. It's first released 2010 in Europe, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, and Mexico. After that's released Asia in 2011. The first Windows mobile OS used by HTC, Dell, Samsung, and LG. The first consumer device sales on October 21, 2010.

End of support:

On 11/07/2017, Microsoft announced immediately end of support. Windows Phones may still operate, but will no longer be eligible for software and security updates from Microsoft.
